    Will do. I have the $$ to buy pretty much any tire at this point... But at around $100 per tire difference... It's hard not to look at the thread rights.

    However, if weight difference is too much, it'll eat $1400 in gas difference assuming 2mpg difference at 50k mile life, or 700 at 1mpg difference :eek:

    They are a good bit heavier from what I've been told. Check out the Kelly safari tsr's, made by goodyear and I read a review from a tire guy with 20 years experience in off road tires that the Kelly's fixed pretty much all the issues with the duratracs and at a lower cost.

    Yeah no doubt. Im not too mad as it will be a while before I get ready to hook them up but a lot of ppl are pissed. Three forums worth. Trek is gonna need to find a very large rock.
    My GD's werent too much heavier than the smaller BFG AT's. I didnt notice much of a diff in MPGs, even going up a size. About .5mpg avg.
