Oh, I was planning on going to a desert race this weekend in rio rancho but it was canceled due to fire restrictions.

 

Hey Gun guys, I'm looking for a hard shell case for my FNP .40 or any good cases that can be released quickly. Doesn't have to be hard shell if it works good that's just what I've used in the past (Fobus/Blackhawk). I plan on using it mainly when I ride my motorcycle. Was carrying my Khar CM9 in a leather case, almost fell out on the freeway over the weekend.

(Staying away from Fobus as the one I got from them scratched the shit out of my gun already and wouldn't release the gun/plus their customer service is total bullshit).

Im finding that an XD and a Glock 20/21 Serpa will work.

 

Searched FNP, only a sling attachment for the FNP 90 came up.

 

I have Serpa and Fobus, and a few custom leathers, but the Fobus works for my SIG as its the one I use for outdoors and exploring and what not and gets scratched anyway. But I get what you are saying, hope you find a good one.

 

What kinda Sig you got Mike? I miss my p228 so much.

Its the P250. Got it at the gunshow last year when it first came out for 350$ with extra mags. It was the guys sale piece. Couldnt pass the deal up. Its perfect for what I use it for and a good gun for beginners I think too.

 

Had one for my M9 in Afghan

 

I bought a Fobus which I have for a few other guns, but it didn't fit right. I called and let them know and showed them pictures, the guy said "Oh maybe your gun was built differently than the rest of them?" They refused to swap the case, total dicks which sucks cuz I love the Fobus for my glock.

 

They don't make one for the FNP either.

 

I use a custom leather for riding never had a problem with it. Also i have a guy up here that makes custom cotex holisters specific to your gun and accessories.

 

My Khar is a concealed and the leather got wet so it lost some of its hold on the gun. I think what happened was my jacket caught the pinky extension on it and yanked it out.

so is the cotex holster for the ladys? or is there something you want to tell us?
