He might have been running E85 at the time. He had tunes for both. My money is on the increased RPM. He was running 6200 RPMs. Increased RPM is much more stressful to rods than increased boost.

URD now reduces the RPM limit to 57 or 5800 when going for their over 400whp #'s. As they are usually between 10-12psi.

Im like 95% sure he was running E85 at the time and I forgot about the higher revs. Like you said that definitely played it's part and very well could have been the cause.

Just discovered something with all the mess of dealing with henninger in Calgary. The courtesy car getting hit, repairing my tc and them not being able to find the body kit pieces..

I was never charged for the winter to summer tire swap or the oil change. Boo ya. extra 150$ in my pocket.

On my drivers side header where it meets the block. When they had it up on the lift I picked it out instantly. On that note I got the bung welded into my pass side header collector and the AFR sensor installed. Gonna have to do some wiring here soon for it still before it's operational.

Lol, the metal stretches and expands, a few warm ups, cool downs, then wear gloves so you don't burn yourself and tighten whilst cooling/still a bit hot for best results.

Saw you this afternoon outside of Butte. I was towing that kinda janky camper with my silver truck. Waved at you but that supercharger was way past me before I could catch up:cool:

Favorite thing about your truck is how well the LED bar works with the satoshi grill. Those halos are also pretty SICK!

Definitely a great looking build man, Im waiting on homer to make me the exact bumper but im going to have the letters colored matched to my truck :)

Thanks Marcel! I'll mess with it Sunday when the weather is nicer. Supposed to rain and be cold tomorrow.

Hey Garrett! I do recall a silver first gen, topper, camper, just outside of Rocker but for some reason never even thought to look over :notsure:. Shoulda honked or at the very least flipped me off hand hanging out the window lol
Thank you sir! Kind words. I'm thinking of incorporating a couple more bars just behind the grille as well. I have a BAMF light bar still sitting here waiting to put something on it. I thought about color matched letters, but am very happy I stuck with black in the end. My next moves are likely to be in the performance department though...

Yep, that was me. Sorry to post a picture in your build but this was me.
Your truck looked great man! Loved that grille in my rear view window.DSC_0004_zpsc50a7b1d_0c04dad1ef8b168a3f82a50d9dce455b144d49e8.jpg
