Interesting story how that worked out.

I purchased a full rear locker and a lunchbox locker for the front. We installed the rear locker first. Then when Bill had some more time on his hands, we tore the front end apart to install the lunchbox locker.

When we got the clamshell like front end off and popped it open, we found that the spider gears had been fully welded to the carrier. A lunchbox locker requires the use of your carrier.

So I went on a search for a full size locker for the front so I wouldn't need the stock carrier. Come to find out, the only full size lockers available for the Toyota 7.5" ifs is the Detroit trutrac and the arb air locker. Obviously I wasn't interested on a LSD, which is what the trutrac is. My only option was the arb, or to find a replacement carrier.

We attempted to find a carrier, but they were expensive. So I said screw it and ordered an arb doe the front. While I was at it, I hated the fact that I was going with an arb in the front and not in the back, so I ordered one for the rear also, along with an Ultra Duty Viair OBA.

I'm sure you're all doing everything you can to make sure she's comfortable, and with family. That's what's most important. I hate to hear she isn't getting any better man.

Once things settle down here, and I get the rest of the Tacoma finished, I would like to take her to the Slab to test her out. Dave, do you have any specific plans for Friday and Saturday the 14th and 15th of June? The shop is sponsoring the Marion Rodeo, and it would be nice to have your truck there with mine as a "showpiece" for the shop. Wouldn't be until around 5 pm each night to show up. I have 4 tickets and only need one, so if anyone else likes to watch small town rodeos, let me know.

 

Just my wife's birthday, but being late in the day like that is, I'll likely be able to make it.

 

Anyone stationed at fort rucker? I'm moving there at the end of this month.

I believe we have one or possibly two members stationed there. They very rarely ever say anything in here though. I'll let you know if I can manage to find the guys names.
