Alabama Off-road/ Mods/ Meets Thread

I appreciate it! Where do most if you off road, camp, shoot at? Or, is most of the members live far from there?

 

I believe we only have a couple members around there, and they rarely post at best. Pretty much all active members in the state are around Huntsvile, Birmingham, Childersberg, and Mobile.

You won't be far off though, and could easily attend out central Alabama meets with about an hour drive or so.

Keep an eye on this thread for all upcoming meets.

Also, you may want to sub to the Alabama thread, and get to know the locals.

There are always a good number of meets in the summer time, but it slows come winter.

Guys, seems most are running a bit late 30 min to 1 hour or so. Going to text those that I have phone numbers for. I'll be there at 8 for anyone who get there that I couldn't get a hold of.

We just passed professional paint and body on 119. Stuck behind a slow poke!

 

As I recall, tickets are not that expensive. Last year the tickets were $10 for adults, and 6-12 year olds were $5. Also last years parking was free. The Marion Rodeo is being held at the Marion Fairgrounds, located on Hwy 14, just west of Hwy 5 in Marion. Dave, if he can make it could be there in about 45 minutes from Montevallo, if that helps you to figure out a time frame.

Anyone that can come would be greatly appreciated. We are a major sponsor of the event, and will have a good bit of advertizing. The event is held on Friday and Saturday evening, and gates open at 6 pm both days.
