Aaron I sold my down hill back and my full suspension xc bike for a 29er hard tail last year and it was way cheaper than the other two and it gets the job done.

that is correct sir. no tent yet, i'm in the same boat as the group buy people (literally waiting on the boat). tents are supposed to arrive to bobby on the 14th, which means i may or may not have it for moab

crossing my fingers that there isn't a snafu #4......

 

Is a 20" frame small for a 6'1" guy?

i'm right at 6' tall if that helps. i like the slightly smaller frames but it fits me perfectly

 

No that's a large. I ride a large and I'm 6'1". But I got my trek wahoo 29er for like $700. $900 is a good price on a giant trance.

 

Obviously I know nothing about these things...I'd have to buy a helmet and shoes too..

 

Only if you want to go with clipless right away. But Pricepoint.com has good prices for that stuff.

How the hell? I get the hands part... but the face? Goop for your hands and a good face mask for your face. Ask jace he can atest to the face treatment.
