I recently moved to North Dakota and I hail from the great state of SO-CAL:p. and I went from 70 to -18 and I was wondering if that had anything to do with my truck felling slow. Im going to do a tune up next week plugs and transmission change and radiator, just a normal tune up. I was looking for away to increase throttle response and acceleration. I was thinking of changing the pulleys and to any after market brand. I just need some input , thanks for reading!!

Air density maybe too?? Sea level air versus air up at elevation - High you go the less dense it is.

Cold air is better, but without knowing the elevation I can't tell you if it's better or worse than what you had before.

In North Dakota, mean elevation is 1900 ft. You loose about 3% (or so) for every 1000 feet in elevation. Manufacture HP ratings are corrected to 0 feet elevation. So, given these details, you have about 14 hp less than you did in So Cal.

A TRD super charger will def. help HP, and will actually increase your MPG's since its a closed system, and if you stay out of the boost. That is the only real way to significantly increase HP.

Any other way would just be a waste of money, such as a CAI. You can put in an AFE pro dry drop in filter since the stock air intake is already a cold air intake since it draws air from the fender well. Another free method is to lighten your truck. Take out all the shit you have in the bed, and behind the seats.

I looked in to getting a supper charger but I couldent pull the trigger on it . there was the URD and the TRD and I was reading about running a 7th injector and it was getting confusing so I just kinda forgot about it.
