I got a quote from Scotty at Addicted on how much a SAS, three-link, would cost. He gave me a quick quote of $12,000, with setting up the rear suspension to match. This would include lockers, gears and all the miscellaneous stuff as well.

With a bit of searching you could find a decent trail rig with two solid axles for that or less. It really only matters what you feel is worth it.

EDIT: yep seems like he has both the SAS 1st gen and a lifted runner!!!

 

Just got done doing the axle swap everything went really smooth tomorrow i'll take it to RTI to get it all wired up!

Finally bought a mower today. Spent about 1 1/2 hours digging up fucking dandelions, & that's only the front yard . Bastards!! Laundry done, margarita pitcher only half gone. Getting ready to make tomatillo salsa & blackberry bars. Jamming out to EDM. Yeah Sunday!

TPMS light is still on so I guess I gotta find somewhere local to get it checked out tomorrow.

I had two done seperately and it wasnt terrible, day after was the worst but getting two done at the same time might be a bitch. I hate the taste of gauze in my mouth.

 

It's solid (& on the Bimmer). New wheels yesterday & it came on prob 10mi after install.

 

Probably a problem with the new wheels, Im not sure but the PSI might need to be adjusted on the TPMS computer. It could be that the stock settings on the TPMS arent met with the new wheels. Did you go up a size?

 

Maybe they didn't put them in?

 

Stayed stock@ 17s since I used the tires that were on it (bought last Nov)... I'm sure it's mostly nothing. ..

 

Nah it would immediately throw the code as soon as she started the vehicle, Driving on new wheels for a couple miles could register incorrect PSI because of the new wheels. Id bet they just need adjusted from stock settings to the new settings from the new wheels.
