Know NOTHING about tires. Right now I'm running 35" Mickey Thompson Baja Claw 35x12.50 R17 tires. I'd just like to know what other sizes I could be running. I understand the 35 is 35" and the R17 is 17" rim, but how about the 12.50? How much can that number vary?

It depends on the width of the rim. Do you know what it is?

No, I don't suppose my current tire size or size availability in my wheels is any help...?

    No...

You need to know how WIDE your rims are. You won't know the 'availability' of sizes unless you know the width of the rim.

Did you buy those rims for your truck? If yes - you should have some receipts that tells you what width they are.
