I can't believe the Death Star got approved. Its detailed drawing consists of a circle! I'm glad to see your feeler thread has over 100 people who want to buy your kit in just a day. I think you will have enough support to make this happen.

Death Star had to be a publicity stunt for Kickstarter. It was in all sorts of news stories, drawing loads of attention to kickstarter.

125 backers was my goal on kickstarter -- glad to see that we have reached that level of interest in a little over 2 days in my poll thread. :)

Kickstarter appeal got rejected. I just read countless reviews of Kickstarter written by people who had similar experiences -- their projects got bounced for no good explanation.

I will be moving toward putting up a page on indiegogo.com -- similar to Kickstarter, but supposedly more reasonable.

    Will keep you guys informed!

Kickstarter can go to hell. Looks like I won't be funding projects with them. Still 100% in for the slider.

I mean I need 10000 dollars to be a giant dick for a month, I'm sure kickstarter would get on board with that. Come on guys fund it.

While you pursue this, are you still putting together the kits for the DC and selling them?
I want to order one for my doublecab asap!

Keep fighting the good fight BenWA, we're all pulling for ya.

I wouldn't even mind placing an order and paying for the AC full hidden version, and waiting a month or so as you get enough orders in to pull the trigger on this.

    Hi Ben,
I noticed your poll results show you have 100 supporters over your minimum required. When can we start giving you our money?:)

Well after some minor issues, I completed my power slider last night. My hats off to Ben for designing and developing this project to share with us!

One quick issue to mention.....apparently the "add-a-fuse" only works when inserted in the correct way! It fits both ways, but after putting a meter on the switch, it only delivers power when it's in the slot with the wire facing the left side. Strange to me...although it's the first time I've dealt with an add-a-fuse before.

    Here are a few pictures....
(I still have to clean up the switch location but ran out of daylight last night.)

You lost me. You're selling the semi-hidden kit for the double cab?

That's a custom Mr. Marv enclosure. All I did was add the carpet.

Very happy with it, it looks and sounds great!

Ben's motor fits nicely on the upper part of the amp rack too!
