2012+ aftermarket headlights

Anyone find aftermarket headlights for the '12+. All I can find is retrofit. I want to throw in some projector lights with BHLM but dont want to drop $800+. Any suggestions? Thanks!

 

Check Ebay. I saw some on there that arent retros.

 

The correct way to "throw in some projector lights" is by doing or buying a true retrofit.

The spyder and other ebay crap (even if they do offer 2012's now) have terrible scatter and a cutoff line that helen keller could tell you is a joke. they also have always had worse halogen output than stock, and throwing hids in them is just gunna blind others, and not net u the quality of lighting u think ur paying for......also, they leak 90% of the time.


Save ur money and do a retrofit, or pay someone.......in the end u will be much happier

good luck, and dont go cheap......do it right the 1st time, and u wont have to "fix" anything later.

I speak from experience with retrofits, and reading many issues right here on TW about the ebay/spyder projectors.

Moose has done some extensive work to "fix" and majorly improve on the design of a set of spyders......Ill look for a link

 

If you know what you're doing. And nothing wrong with aftermarket. Just change the projector and you're set.

I saved money by getting replicas and throwing in TRS projectors.

 

so u retrofitted quality projectors into a housing that had inferior projectors.

Yup. Because legit JDM projectors are costly. And you still need to find LHD projectors. Unless you get ahold of EDM projectors which cost more than JDM.
