Weight of stock wheels

    I am trying to figure out the weight of the 16" 6 lug steel wheels that came on my 2007 base 4x4. I have searched all the wheel manufacturer websites and very few carry the steelies don't have any specs. Is there anywhere else I can look to find this info?

    In case you are wondering I am just trying out some calculations to see if I want to keep the rims I picked up to replace my stockers

    I read a while back that they were around 30# or so....Take one off and throw it on a scale?

    I am at school and am afraid I would break the tire changing wrench in 15 seconds with those things...I hope i dont get a flat!

    I have 2 sets of wheels. Stock 16" steel wheels with Dunlop tires and Stock 16" alloy wheels with ProComp MT tires.

    The other day I weighed them.
    The Steel wheel (with Dunlop tire) weighed 55 lbs. The alloy wheel (with ProComp Tire) weighed 70 lbs.
