Was able to bash my slash for awhile yesterday, put a hard 3 packs though it and had a issue, thought my slipper needed to be tightened and just came home. Pulled it apart tonite and come to find out my slipper pads were shattered, anyone know of a better upgrade for the slipper? Thinking more pads will work better distributing the heat but too lazy to really search to see if thats a upgrade option or not.

i have a slash 4x4 and im thinking of selling it. me and a few friends got super into it and are over it now. i got like 3 or 4 lipo batteries and 2 lipo chargers and i upgraded the front things to the blue metal things and i have a set of the proline bowties i think? and i got a pinion gear that supposedly makes it go faster. as you can tell i know pretty much nothing about rc cars haha. so based on that info what do you think i could get for it?

$350ish based on condition. Depends on the chargers and batteries too.

Just get on craigslist and see what similar slashes are going for.

scx10 = smaller tires, less suspension travel, less ground clearance, more scale

wraith = bigger tires, more travel, more ground clearance

Really depends on if what terrain you are going to use it on and also whether you want a scale truck or a rock buggy. I went with the wraith because I wanted a bigger truck and more ground clearance. Plus I love the looks of the killer cage!! Even though I chopped part of mine off... haha. Mine's actually for sale if you are interested. Lots of upgrades and extra parts.

Bought a Tekin sc4x 4.5t with 5mm shaft today for $50 :D. Came with a sensor wire and 3 pinions. Now searching Craigslist for a MMP to run it.. (Cause I can't afford a RX8 haha)
