your not dumb. just severly understating the cost of the project. your hoping to get by on the skin of your teeth. and I hope you do too. but playing devils advocate, Ide say its going to be around $800-$900 when all is said and done. and thats not including time into that equation. I would much rather see you have a selectable locker, but I have a good feeling its going to cost you more than you want to spend. that is all my friend.

At that cost, oh yeah! If it comes out cheaper then maybe it's a win though and he will have fun working on his rig and depending on his plans he may get some wheeling in with me around here if things work out and he gets on here eventually. haha

Either way I am gonna be bringing his housing up. I will hopefully be able to make it up this weekend provided my UCAs show up but I might have them overnight them to me. Gonna be ordering on thurs morning and they are just coming from AZ

 

We have gone over this over and over. I don't get where you keep adding on an extra 300 to my budget. Of course im trying to avoid getting that high, and as of now it looks like ill still be in range of my budget of 5-6, even with beer. Am really considering shelling out the extra cash for the full re build to do the bearings too, but if the third was already rebuilt like you said it might not be necessary.

Exactly! This project is of course about risk management. im taking the risk of having to sink more costs in to make it work, but at the present it looks like its paying off. And i am having a blast taking on such a technical project like this, and learning as much as I have. I really enjoy this stuff. And its going to be a wild ride swapping it all in with konsta and you. speaking of which, right now it looks like ill head over next friday and leave saturday afternoonish. still have to finalize that though
