 I look forward to checking those out. I wish I didn't spend stupid $$$ on Rigid's for my Tacoma.

I think I should have something by the end of this week

Everything else won't get here until after our trip. Or with my luck it will show up Friday after I have left.

Yeah man! Some of the NC FJ guys have already started talking about a fall ride out there.

Well the first bit of stuff from Addicted showed up a few days ago. I took it to my fab shop for some minor additions :D. The rest of my stuff won't be here for a few more weeks :pout:

Also ordered a CB and all the shenanigans for that. Hopefully that will show up in the middle of next week

Just got the 4Runner back from Heavy Metal Customs. I had them paint it for me and installed. I know I know, easy stuff but between working all week and the girl having surgery, I had no time to do it myself. Couldn't be happier with the product and I got it just in time before URE!

Got some spare time today and decided to pull the doors off. Pretty easy considering one of the P/Os used cotter pins. The electrical connections on the passenger side were kind of a pain because they were tucked way up under the speaker, but with some cussing and yelling they came right out :D

I also installed a CB setup. Pretty happy with it but I would like to relocate the CB to a better spot. It is a Uniden Pro 520XL, door jab CB antenna mount, medium duty spring (thanks ajohnson) , 3 foot Firestik antenna (thanks again ajohnson ), and generic 5 watt speaker that is pretty damn loud.

Still waiting on my last few items from Addicted to show up. Hopefully they will be here next week.

I want to try to squeeze my CB into the ashtray slot. Either that or the slot under the stereo is a great spot. Your rig looks really good man, hopefully we can get it a little dirty soon.

I have been looking at the opening under the radio as well. I do use that spot for my iPod, cigs, dip, etc though cause there aren't any other places to put things. The center console is a joke as you know.

I'm really bummed I didn't wheel Saturday. I'm glad I left though because I would have been miserable. I was one stop light away from puking in my lap once or twice. I'm gonna try and sneak a weekend in to wheel again. Where would you wanna go?

I have been debating not getting hi-steer and here is why. I am going to keep this rig as low as possible. I can live with the way it handles now, I just gotta wait and see what it is like off road before I make any final decisions. Hi-steer is expensive and for what I will have spent getting that setup, I could save for triple sticks or gears, lockers and tires.
