lol there is a truck in Scappoose that is a a clone of mine "stock". I parked by it at the grocery store a week or so ago.

 

Haha, a double cab parked next to me a couple daya ago when I was at a miniart with stock wheels painted black.

Edit: That sound is NOT the leaves. It is the shock itself

 

are you 100% its the shock? Thats a sound i havent heard shocks make. Just the leaf pack.

 

Were you at Sears in the Washington Square mall today around 11? Seen a red access cab that had sliders on it and a front bumper. Also looked like it had an Icon setup

 

I'm sure. I remove the shock earlier and tested the suspension with just the leaves. I was able to jack the rear axle up quietly without the shock and with the shock would make that noise.

I also heard the sound when I put my weight on the shock and tried to compress the shock on the grass.

their any pitting or scratches in the shock shaft?

 

I walked by you, you had jacks in your hand as you came out the door lol

 

Nope. A little pitting up at the top bushing and on the top bolt but nothing on the shaft

im going to say theirs grit between the shaft and most likely the first seal. If its not that, then i havent a clue. That kinda stumps me... Maybe post in the suspension area and see if you can get any advice.
