Been eye balling this. For all the bad things you here about harbor frieght these have alot of good reviews and not just on HF's site.

 

Body kits sure do have a way to make a nice Escalade look like a piece of shit.

Body kits can actually make a vehicle look better, problem is, most people who get them are cheap and have no taste.

 

I just spoke with my buddy that has a shop and he said the tailpipe dump would be fine as long as I dont have a cap. It cant be a confined space or pass compartment. He said the bed cover is ok I assume cause it is below the rear slide window and also cause you wouldnt put an animal or pass back there

 

I've got my sliders, light bar, skid plate and lower valance painted in that. The sliders aren't holding up well, everything else is doing fine. The problem is, it seems to chip off easily. The parts on the front of the truck are holding up fine because they're not taking rocks being thrown directly from the tires.

For sliders, I agree, chips too easy.

What do you sand it with, it seems to gum up the paper too quickly every time I tried to sand it.

You need to find a small shady shop to do your inspections...

 

That would make things so much easier!!! But then I would have to sell it becasue I would have no place to put the darn thing..

My dad got me the Chicago Tools electric impact gun for Christmas and it seems to work really well. I only have a small compressor that works for air nailing in small doses or tire fills, not large enough for an impact. So far, I'm happy with the electric impact and the small compressor.

 

Not at the moment . But ill let you know .

I haven't stripped it yet . But now that you say that ill use paint thinner and a razor blade . Knock down the heavy stuff then use my dewalt sander to get the rest off .

 

Just paint over it with the Blue can.

 

Ya.....those Alteza lights bring back the class quick tho

Remember when the Fast & Furious came out? Couldn't find a Civic without alteza lights.

 

I had them on my old Ranger I was in high school though...

 

I bought this one from HF, So far I like it...and it's oilless.
