Forgot the brand I have on mine, but it's a roll up one with like a hard bar on the back that just fits into a grove, takes 5 sec to pop it off and roll up and 5 sec to put back on for like 300, i can check the brand when i get home if you'd want

What helper bags should I run with my dim notch? I think this kit will work since it doesn't use the stock bump stop mounts

You should get a remote tailgate popper and just pop it open insted of having to go from the inside

Wonder if you could make some sort of catch. Or hide a button where your plate sits like some of the old customs, and not have it remote controlled but have to press a button to open

So the ups driver was lazy and didn't drop off my wheels because "no one was there" when in fact I had two people there the whole time to receive them...

Hoping to have the wheels on no later than Friday! Can't wait to see them on, on a side note, I built the most complicated front license plate holder ever lol

I was looking at buying one of those hideaway license plates (probably still will) but I will have to post up pics of mine when I get access to a computer soon.

careful. the way the leaves are set up they come out at an angle (the front of the leafs are under the frame where as the back of the leafs come out to the side of the frame - so the leaf springs won't be directly under the frame like it is on the 1st gens). Also to take into account is the way the shock mounts are, one is positioned in front of the axle toward the cab (pass), and the other is place angled behind the axle (driver).

I used an old Ride Tech AOL kit, but had to use spacers for the upper brackets. At most it's VERY tight around that area (under frame ... your in for some work), for now I have the Firestone 7076 bags (test fitted a 2500 lb bag and it won't fit period, have yet to get my hands on a F9000 bag but given the dimensions/space you best bet is to use the 7076 bag).

    http://www.ridetech.com/store/components/air-springs/

2500 lb bag specs - 6.5" diameter inflated
    F9000 sleeve specs - 5" diamater inflated
Firestone 7076 sleeve specs - 4" diameter inflated

my kit is similar to this one except the lower bag mounts for the leafs are for a 2.5" leaf pack.
    http://www.ridetech.com/store/2.5-leafspring-bracket.html

    hope this helps.
