Damn, after reading the last few pages of posts, we should call this the economic stimulus thread. Serious cheddar being spent in the days before summer.

I have a feeling this is going to be an epic wheeling summer.

I don't think so. When you headed up that way? I'm thinking of picking up some wheel spacers for the rear of my runner.

Up to you Im contemplating buying a second set, I don't know if I wll need them for the rear with stock wheels and 285's. I didn't have them on my last runner but I also had a 1in body lift.

Cant wait to see those monsters on there. Did you already do all the trimming you need to do? Lemme back up, you are doing 35s right?

Side note, I think I am going to build my rear bumper too, to match my sliders that I just finished.

I just got these KM2s but I have a feeling that I will go with guard dogs after these. The BFGs are too expensive new and since I am getting used to the drone of MTs I will not be afraid to go with those next time. I am also thinking about soundproofing the cab. I would go with a mat-style product, but it is so expensive. I read that roofing cement works great and you can do it for like $10 but have to endure the rubber smell for a couple days. I think I can put up with that in order to save over $400

Yeah the guard dogs are loud. Im sure they aren't as bad in the 2nd gen tacomas. My runner didn't have carpet in the back so you could hear the tires and road noise really loud!

to many to list, check the build thread
10 bucks but you would have to take out all the seats, carpet and headliners. that seems like a lot of work no? And if you dont have the plastic rivet pullers you could break the tabs and then need to replace them too, that is if our trucks have those fragile plastic rivets holding things to the body.
