I have talked to a few dealers who say they can't order the truck in this region, that it's not even an option.

    I am looking for:
    Access cab
    4x2 pre-runner
    6 spd manual
    TRD sport
Not picky on the color but I do have prefrences.

I typed this in on autotrader ANY DISTANCE and had no results.

Is this combination even possible? If it is how can I get one in CA? Do i need to fly somewhere and drive it back?

    Thanks

I dont believe thats a possible combo, I dont remember exactly what it was but i know the 6spd only comes on certain types. I dot remember it being an option for my sport

Spend the cash and get a 4x4! I didn't and regretted it the whole time.

Thats annoying, so I either need a 4x4 or auto?

Or a double cab? I'm not sure either, but I know they only make certain configurations depending on the options you want.

I have a DCSB 6-speed TRD Sport 4x4...so I know that you can a manual transmission with a TRD Sport. My guess is it's Pre-Runner option that's eliminating the standard trans option.

    Check here:
    http://www.toyota.com/configurator/#!/series/tacoma

It will give you an idea of what you can and cannot build...though be warned that just because you can all the through this with the options you want, doesn't necessarily you'll be able to find one at a dealership.

I know that different zip codes will give you slightly different options. Can't remember what they were exactly but Utah and CA had different options when building a taco

You can't get the 6 speed manual or the Sport package in a PreRunner access cab at least not here in Ohio. I would say just go with the Offroad and then change out the hood and rear bumper like I did on my Rugged Trail but that wouldn't solve the 6 speed issue for you.

If I could I would pick TRD off road with a 6spd. I just don't need 4x4 or a double cab, I rather have the extra bed length.

...and the long-bed double cab doesn't come in 6speed manual trans either I believe, at least it didn't with the 2012 models.
