The only reason I have tripples in the back of my truck is because I got them for a bargain. (race takeoff from the ICS T-100) im running .08's on rebound and .10 or .12 on compression or a mixture of the two (honestly forgot, it was a set it and forget it sorta deal), rebound tubes are screwed about half way in, i didnt mess with the first compression tube at all. And the last compression tube is turned all the way in and it rides like butter.

ohh and I dont run an air bump, just an old poly POS to keep my shocks alive, I rarely even touch the bump out back. Get your shit out in the dirt and dont worry about all the cool do-dads and buzz word parts its only taking away your funds to get out in the dirt and play!

ATO front skid (need more but icon's might fail if I hang anything else from my truck) All-Pro front bumper thanks to a good deal here and a pesky encounter with a rock or 20, total chaos uppers.
Thanks for the reply, Tim basically said doubles would work but triples would tune better. Im sick of bottoming out my existing rear set up so as soon as the DMZ kit is in i'm ready to go. Last run I did felt like the rear rode on the bumps the entire time! But your right, as nice as the cool factor might be its all useless if its sitting in my driveway! Dirt = win!:D

The tunabilty of the tubes only goes so far, you need to get your shimm stacks right first. Im running the DMZ kit, I rode in and watched trucks similar to mine (extra cab tacos, & rangers) that had similar shock setups and just went from there. Asked what they were running took notes and then taylored it to my liking. Its a lot easier than it sounds.

Shock angle question for you guys...

On a double cab short bed, if I mount the shock within 2'' of the front of the bed and have my shock mounts on the front side of the axle, how much shock angle am I going to be looking at and what sort of affect on performance are we talking?

More importantly make sure it cycles properly. As mentioned above when they were talking about links you can make it up with valving and tuning
