No, it was buck and I was being facetious about the 'all the time' part too. I'll have to see if I can find it but it's pretty non-eventful. I loaded only one shell in each one (I think I had my M4 & my 11-87 as I recall, both pistol grip) because we were paranoid that it was going to be some seismic recoil that was going to cause me to rapid fire out of control and fall and spray 00 Buck all over the place. Turns out that being nearly 300lbs meant that it was no more eventful than firing a single 12ga shotgun. If I can fing it I'll post it up.

If you're torquing them to the right setting they shouldn't come lose. Of course depends on what caliber it's on.

Nothing wrong with using some blue lock-tite, don't use the red unless you never want to take it apart.

I get knocked around pretty good from my 2 3/4 slugger rounds in my m37, then featherweight guns kick rather hard

Yes. The mount is as important as the optic.

agreed, thankfully a high quality mount doesn't cost as much as a high end scope lol. I've got cheap rings on only 1 gun, its a .22. anything bigger than a rimfire and I will have decent rings.
