No way.. Lol. I look at both sides of the coin, the man doesn't have a good argument but its an argument nonetheless.

I think the majority of people just feel that this guy is being super nitpicky.... He wants to sue Toyota because his truck is making a whistling noise... The majority of owners do not experience this issue or I'm pretty sure we would have heard about it on here by now... If you think everyone in here is a fanboy then you are pretty disillusioned

You do realize the drivers were at fault on all of the supposed unintended acceleration reports, or maybe you don't.

the fact that there is a simple and known fix makes this even more silly, kinda like the dip$hit that sued McDonalds for burning his lip on hot coffee....ROFL.

on another note, did the OP ask in a class action suite who would pay for the attorney fees if no award is given? LULZ!

Sorry, but the acceleration "problem" was driver error; also you bought a truck. Trucks make noise at highway speeds, they aren't sedans. Reason Toyota has a bunch of recalls, is most of their buyers have outrageous and uptight expectations (due to Toyota's known reliability and longevity) and will demand a recall for the stupidest little flaws. Trucks today are still a lot like they were 30 years ago, and most of us still view them as workhorses, not grocery getters. Go buy a Camry if you want something quiet and has better road manners. Either way, I am not going to help try and sue a multi billion dollar corporation for a little wind noise, not even worth the time or money. Good day, sir!

Maybe the OP needs one of those magical CAI's that makes 28RWHP and the whistle will go away with all the BRAAAAAP!

I'll put the fanboy word aside for a moment here, but let me get this straight so we are on the same page; customer buys truck, customer finds issue with truck, attempts self repair - unsuccessful, arrives at dealer to resolve issue, still unsuccessful. I'd say he's more pissed the dealer can't / won't fix it than the noise it's self. Majority of taco owners are not on this website, just a small fraction and of the small fraction I've seen the issue arise on several occasions, but from all the derogatory statements and unnecessary pics it doesn't seem he has a valid argument (then again it's the Internet.. What do you expect) with the flaw in his 30k truck (assuming of course, I'm on the mobile site and don't know what model he has).
