2 weeks ago I had an interview and the boss told me he's not going to hire me, the team is going to hire me. He explained if I'm accepted by the team and pass probation, I'll know because I'll be "initiated". All I knew was this would involve handcuffs and a struggle

Well, last night was that night.....

6 former military men tackled me and each used 2 sets of cuffs to make me look like an inside out burrito

Hands behind my back, feet behind my back, hands connected to feet, and then everything connected to the back of my waist. Then the cuff key was clipped to the back of my shirt and it was up to me to escape.....

The battle lasted 19 minutes and ended with a little blood and lots of bruises :(

Well considering its been 24 hours now since the incident and my wrists still look exactly the same, it was certainly more than just a little red mark. They hurt like hell.

While the cuffs were on I kept telling them to loosen the left one because I couldn't feel my thumb. One of the guys is an EMT and said I was good that I was still getting circulation, so I pushed through it..... Well, you know that feeling when you sleep on your hand, and you wake up and your hand or fingers feel swollen and they tingle of you touch it and its numb? But then it goes away within a minute or 2 when the blood comes back. Well, my thumb feels like that still. Its been 24 hours and I still can't feel my thumb and its tingling. Rest of my hand and fingers are fine, just my thumb. Getting kinda concerned that a nerve is damaged :(

Well that's good to know. I got the feeling back on the bottom (palm side) of the thumb, but the top and side is still numb up to the wrist. I'm just hoping its nothing too serious and fixes itself in a few days.

Yeah cuffs are no fun. I had the same experience except they cuffed me for supposedly assaulting a security guard.

    Watch your back ProForce...I'm dangerous.

You had 6 military men cuff you? I don't think those were real uniforms or real military men...

I had 13 police officers from 4 different jurisdictions hold each of their service weapons pointed at the back or my head as I counted down the steps they told me to take backwards towards them in the middle of a completely shut down 405. Then I was cuffed and thrown into the back of a police car with absolutely no explanation where I remained without an answer for 1.5hrs, then released with an apology.

So in short, no...I did not.
