Hey guys I'm a newbie on here with my first Tacoma bought last November. 2013 DCLB TRD Sport......Want to hook it up with some 5100's and AAL. Anyone out there within a reasonable driving distance (from greenwood, sc) that's willing to help install these things for me.....reasonably priced of course. IE....Beer, Steaks, more beer.....and of course the personal satisfaction of teaching someone else how to do some odds and ends on their truck!

    PM me if interested

Ok sounds good. I was just seeing if there was anyone out there willing. I had a few people here in town give me some pretty crazy prices and to me its just not worth it to drop all that $$.

this has got to be a TW member.

    http://raleigh.craigslist.org/cto/3743406334.html

but damn dude! why you spend all that money and then try and sell it so quick?!!

on an unrelated note, one of my friends is looking for a tacoma.

    his preferred specs..

    -less than $25,000
    -less than 50,000 miles
    -07 or newer
    -prefer 4 door
    -TRD OF, or Sport
    -4x4.

... he's tossing around the prerunner idea cause obviously he's finding those cheaper. i told finding a truck with those specs for less than $25k should not be an issue.

    central - eastern nc area.

I'd assume military and he would never get that much for the truck.

you're probably right on the military part. that is a beautiful truck though. . . but yeah, 40,000 is crazy. he'll probably end up selling it for 30,000.

Who is this guy? ^

I was just recently shopping for Tacoma's with very similar interests, but it almost impossible to find anything in that price range in 4x4. At least for me it was. Plus it made no sense to buy used when I could get a new one for a little extra dough. These trucks hold their value too damn well. Partially why I said fuck it and went a different route.

Best of luck to your buddy though, he is gonna need it.

    :p

in my opinion, he's not the smartest with his money. he will probably end up with something really new, with a really low payment, for a really long time. ...... and he'll be happy haha.

just trying to help him out. . . and i still think it's possible. i got my 07 nearly three years ago for 16,800. had 80k miles, but i haven't had a problem with it.
