    Got a question guys. I'll be in Missoula next week and would like to hut up Butte while I'm there. I know its about a 2 hour drive, but since I haven't been there in 8 years is there anything to do/see along the way or in Butte?

    I'm going to Butte to see the grandparents grave.

    I think most of the mining museum stuff is still closed for the winter...not 100% on that though
    Lots of fishing in the area if you want to stop along the way. Or we can send you on the "scenic" route and avoid the interstate. Good eats at Metals Bank, Trimbo's, Derby...

    Im here in Butte still, Im leaving next Thursday tho but if your in town I'd be happy to meet up. Colt probably would too.


    Mining museum is open here at Tech im pretty sure. (could be wrong) I believe the berkley pit is open. Lots of historic stuff to check out if your interested in that. I dont know why Lisa would try to send you to those places. For lunch you need to go to UPTOWN Pork Chop Johns...it is a must. Or maybe even a pasty if your not feeling a chop. If you want Pizza I would go to the Vu Villa, but Trimbo's isnt to bad either. Metals is really cool place to eat but the food to me is average.

    Whether has been nice here and to much road construction hasnt started so your in luck.

    by scenic I meant secondary, 2 lane highways not 4x4 trails....
    For example...at Drummond get off of the interstate and take Highway 1 through Philipsburg and Anaconda. Stop at the Sweet Palace in PBurg for some awesome, freshmade candies. I recommend the coffee caramels and moose drool truffles. There's a brewery there too if thats your sort of thing.
