I don't know where elso to go with this, but I wanted to show off what I'm towing now!:p

I brought this home yesterday. It's a Jayco Baja 10G. Basically it's a small "toy-hauler". It's a 10' popup camper with a 63" deck on the front. I got it with brakes, optional shitter/shower, awning, furnace, indoor/outdoor stereo, and furnace. There is a 30gal. freshwater tank with 12v. on-demand pump (maintains 45psi.), 11gal. greywater tank, and 5gal. blackwater cassette. I also got the Equal-i-zer WD/anti-sway hitch installed. I'm impressed with how it tows. I think there is a smooter ride at speed (as hi as 78mph on the expressway) than without the camper behind it.

Anyhow, this is my first new camper and I can't wait to use it!

    First time seeing it!

First time hooked up after the walkthrough and teardown.

Sorry for the pic-whoring, but I NEED to show it off!

    Already storing "stuff" on it.

Loving the diamond-plate front and rear.:D

    235/75 15 AT's!

First switch is for the LED decklite. The other two are for lifting and lowering the roof!:D I also have a keyfob for it!

"Kitchen", it's a little tight with the shitter/shower in there.

    Shitter...

    shower.:)

Looking back towards the door. The s/s is to my left, sink etc. to my right.

Furnace, fridge, pump switch, and battery voltage meter.

Water system is under the bench seat. You can also see the back of the outdoor shower.

Tunes!!! It's a Dual, I will upgrade it to a Pioneer to get Bluetooth. For now, the speakers will do, but I see a marine upgrade in the future. No need for any kind of an amp, just a mid grade system for fireside tunes!:)

So, that is what I will be towing this summer!:yay::yay::yay:

Thanks for looking and bearing with me.

Now back to the regular programming!

    Thanks! :D

It's taken me almost 30 years of tent camping to get here. I hope to get out 6-10 times with it this summer!

I'm gonna driveway camp in it Friday night!

Are you coming to Rausch with us this year? The best campground I've ever been to is right down the street and it's super cheap.

Very nice John! What are the full dimensions of the area on the front? How big of a ATV would fit on there?

    The deck is 63" x 85".

I haven't measured my Sportsman 500, but I believe it's just over 50" wide and not quite 80" from brush guard to brush guard. I do know it's about 700 lbs., and the deck is good for 1050lbs.

Hey Dan!:D THis is the best I got. I hit the wrong button on your way by and shut the phone off instead of hitting the pic button.

BTW, I found the wheel that goes on the jack. I never used it, but I have it. I will let you know if/when I get to the Fairport area.(mom's house). Or, you can use it as an excuse to come back out this way. Maybe do a little shooting?:infantry::mudding: ,or mudding?

Hey Rob! Thanks! It's a little tight on the inside, but they do make a 12' that also has a slide-out. It might be more your size with the kids.

I don't know about RC. I would love to, but it depends when it is. I'm already going to a buddy's place for Memorial Day weekend, Father's Day weekend, then the following weekend after that. And, Labor Day weekend.

I haven't kept up, when is RC? I wouldn't mind heading in your direction either. I've been to a couple campgrounds in Conn. and Mass. back in the golfcourse construction days. It would be nice to meet some of you guys out there too.

BTW...I am seeing (or not seeing:eek:) the need for some of those towing mirrors you were repping a while back. Are they still available?

Cool about the wheel, ya shooting in my neighborhood is frowned upon. :notsure:
Let me know if you are gonna be in the area, if not we may have to come back down and take you up on the offer. :)

Just picked up my Tacoma, mostly hauling a single axle trailer with a lawnmower or my Ranger... I have a F350 that I haul the tractor, rv and heavy stuff with.

    First tow with the Tacoma...
    2uny2une_bd1b7594c061a329b5d04bdf52a1d3c381643c4c.jpg

Since the photo I have had the dealer do the rear spring TSB and have a set of firestone air bags on the way... The trailer sits pretty high as I flipped the axle so that it would be level hauling it with the F350, I think the air bags will level it up nicely...

Pic of the lawn mower in tow....

    Some F350 Tow Action... ;)
