Ha, I emailed them too.

This was the response I got

"We agree that there is a market for the Toyota 8.4 differential and we will be including it in our new product development for this year.

    We apologize for the inconvenience."

I know that's what I thought. You'd figure they would since there would be more people with that diff that would want it locked. Stupid.

Lockrite is only option I'm finding.

    Yep..:pout:

Huh didn't tell me that..so done else musta answered yours haha

    Mine said

"Thank you for your interest in the Aussie locker.

If you have the 4WD Tacoma we only make the front locker for the IFS differential used 1995 to 1999 (our model XD27527). We do not make the rear differential locker.

    We apologize for the inconvenience."

In my 97 I had a lock rite. It was a manual transmission and only a couple time I can remember feeling it back there on normal streets. Only time other people noticed noise was if I was backing in and turning it would "click" and people would say what's wrong with your truck? I just replied its a pile don't follow me :)

I wouldn't hesitate in putting one in again, but I don't need to now with the elocker in my 03

Add a locker and watch how much easier and how many bigger harder obsticles you will be able to accomplish. You will ask yourself why you waited so long to add one

Monte why are you going with a lunchbox locker anyways? for $200 more you can get a trd rear from a junkyard.

Ur tarded. Not in it 750. And te only reason I'm spending a bit more is cuz in rebuilding the whole thing. I could cut out about 200 if I threw it in but I want to have it rebuilt and never have to take it out again. Oh an the 100 for the new r and p since Trds never came in the tacos with 4.56, 4banger problems
thats one of the biggest costs with doing a swap lol, driving to get the axle unless u get lucky and find one in your area.

Not possible, nobody would sell a complete trd axle for 250, unless they are dumber than a rock
Lol good luck. They are right, normally a full swap could very well go for as much an arb, but I got lucky and got good deals.

You can look online at car part, but there are only ever a handful within 500 miles and all for at least 800. Best way is to find a totaled truck and make a deal.

Every time I find a good deal on something I get beat to it. It's like I can't win for losing
