I test drove a local member's DR650 and had a blast on it. I loved the low end. I would think it'd be fun to convert a bike like that to a supermoto, gobs of power paired with good suspension and sitting on grippy tires

I can't believe your bike weighs in over 400 lbs! That thing's a tank. I think my Katana weighs about 430 dry if I'm not mistaken. I'm sure the dual carbs gives it a lot of power.

A 650 motard would be insane lol

Yup its a tad over 400lb it's a handful in the woods and in tight areas. Half the reason I beat myself up when I ride. the dual carbs give it a ton of power, I can feel when the secondary opens too lol

    I got a DR650:

And I will tell you what, this thing could pull out a tree stump with the torque it has. Roll on power wheelies up into 3rd gear can be had if the weather is right. Before the true dual sport tires, I had a set of street treads and man does that thing carve the corners - flick it around with a little push and off you go. I can only imagine if I put on a fat rear tire with a 17" front...

Grrr...went to walmart to get a new battery for my bike. Some tool must have returned it with the wrong acid and no plugs. Now I need to go all the way back to return it and get a new one.

Well I picked up my truck today. They still couldnt find/hear the noise. I also wanted the a/c looked at cause it blows at 45-47 degrees, to me that is warm especially since the ambient/outside temp is in 60s. They said was "cold". The one thing they did that was nice was they must have cleaned and adjusted the rear brakes cause my pedal is up nice and high now. Can you guys put a thermometer in the drivers dash vent to see what you get on max a/c? I am used to being in the high 30s. They told me they were just making a paper trail for the noise so I dont think much effort went into that. I also picked up my brakeline clips that I broke when installing the sliders

LOL. Yea Billy I was asking about the stereo sound because I know that you and most guys that have reg and x-cab models complain a lot about the sound. I think the stereo in my truck sounds OK. It's nothing to brag about but not bad, for me anyways.

Not to say I wouldn't like to update it. :D

Mine was warm the other day . I used a recharge can from autozone . It was in the green on the gauge but I gave it a few pumps and now it's back to being cold . Like the day I bought it .

At the end of my time at VW, they would under charge all the a/c units. They wouldnt do it by alot but enough that it made a differance to the temp. When you think about it, alittle from all the new deliveries adds up fast.
