Ya i think so. I have never used that exact stuff but it sounds very similar to ice and water which i have used many times. Once it adheres good it is a BITCH to get off. I have also only used it on plywood, might be a different story with sheet metal. I could see i peeling off if you installed it on the ceiling of your truck when it is colder, then the roof gets really hot and it might let go. But if you install it when its hot it wont come off. Keep that in mind if you are going to use it. Paint thiners or gasoline wont even take that stuff off of some surfaces.

This is the stuff i am familiar with http://m.homedepot.com/p/W-R-Grace-36-in-x-75-ft-Grace-Ice-Water-Shield-5003002/202088840

I might try some on the doors if I can find a smaller kit, no reason to buy 50' just for the doors

Ya just leave em in..they'll eat up the moisture to a point, if there's a puddle in there those pacs won't make a dent..if its just some fogging moisture they should work..

I was just checking "damprid" that is what we used in the RV over the winter storage but I cant find them in small packs. You could maybe put some in a small bag of your own

I have never seen a product like that sold in a small amount, although i have never needed a small amount of it haha. Grace makes the best underlayment products, i always buy their stuff vs. the knockoffs which are cheaper.

Just use a tiny ziploc bag. I have some that are about 1 inch square.

Open box, cut off 10', close up box and return lol. They never open the box. Kinda a dick move though. I bought a grinder the other day at the cheopo, took the wrench out to change the blade, then returned it and said the wrench was missing and i already bought a new one from somewhere else. Somehow i lost my wrench and they didnt sell them seperatly haha. Funny thing is the first box i opened in the store the wrench was already missing.

I dont use the wrench on my little 4" grinders. Just hold button and turn disc otherwise you run the chance of having a bastard of a time getting it off. Before I was shown this trick I broke many spanner wrenches

When you took them out of the oven, should have put a shop vac on the bulb hole, it would have cycled the damp air out.

As far as the silica packs, any store that sells coats, just check the pockets (only half joking).

Sorry, not following the back and forth with you and Evan, what product are you looking for? I think I have some left over ice and water shield, at least I think I do. If that's what you're looking for, let me know and I'll check.
