    Well then you should have asked about the bolt, not the nut!
    sort of a medium fine I'd say

    They're longer than 1.75"....My rack is 1.25" tube and I have about 0.5" hanging below that, plus there is some above the rack too, inside the rail on the tent. They've got to be either 2" or 2.25"

    PLUS the head size of the bolt is important since it sits down inside the rail...don't know what that is though

    He's got a plan in place and there is still a shot we can get our tents before our trip to Moab. :cool:

    Come tomorrow I'll be past the "point of no return" as far as vacation time goes.

    Since there is still a chance it may come in time I'm going for it.
