I understand that, but does it turn into a higher risk cause they have a limo tint?

 

in CA yes, the town im from there im fairly sure my LEGAL limo tint in my slammed hondas got me pulled over more often ... then when the cops came up to the car and realised i wasnt mexican or asian they would give me a warning for whatever i did that got me pulled over in the first place.

CA is a tint primary pull over state so i usually got pulled over for some other minor bullshit infraction.

 

Millions of cars on the road, which one has drugs, guns and money in it? The tinted windows? The mini van? The 89 Honda?

How did Timothy McVeigh get caught? A traffic stop for a vehicle malfunction...did that cop have a sense that he was fucked up and just bombed a building?

You can't know...you can recognize certain behaviors but you can't know what you're getting into and if its f-ed up or not.

This is the EXACT sort of thing that gets patrolman killed regularly. There is no such thing as a 'routine' stop.

Never said there was a "routine" stop. Just was saying that maybe a cop might be able to recognize what they're getting into more or less, regardless of tint.

 

As in... something that looks more like a routine stop? I don't think you get what we're trying to tell you. The first time you treat a stop as a routine or low-danger stop might be your last. It ain't the movies and in real life you can't get complacent so allowing yourself to let down your guard could end in your death. So that's basically what we're saying about 'routine' stop.

 

Tint is just a bad idea because im sure it puts police officers at an even higher level or tension. Imagine approaching a closed door, There could be a nice person there, Someone with a shotgun, Someone with a knife in there hand. Now tell me, Would you like a window on that door?

 

You should go do a ride along, its very educational and informative, especially if you have questions and have wondered about things that we do or how we do them or why.

My Taco is still tagged in NC, and is still located in NC...but will find its way out to CO eventually, & the tint limit in CO is darker rated than NC. I don't know how much noticeable difference 5% is honestly. The other side I'm pondering is that I'm not so sure I could get a professional tint done in NC at the CO percentage.

 

I understand the reason for that movie was a big disappointment.
