Thanks for all the information! I'll check out the 885x coils. They might be just what I'm looking for.

[Edit] I looked around online for the 885x coils and can't seem to find them. Are they special order?

I looked there and they only list the 885. Am I to assume the listed 885 are actually the newer 885x? Thanks again!

If you're putting the Dakars on the rear that's when you're going to want another hand or two.

    Hi Everyone,

I just ordered the old man EMU kit for my 4 banger ext cab.

Going for the same ruffly as "4Wheelin4Banger"

885 coils and dakars running stock UCA's - 885s as I want bumbers/sliders in the future.

Im running the wheels in the below picture for now with stock tire size but plan on upgrading to 255/85/16 like 4Wheelin4Banger

Will I need wheel spacers for the stock tire size?

and will I need wheel spacers for the upgraded 255/85/16?

    Thanks

I have a quick question. I'm running 884s with top plate spacers and LR ucas. At full droop my ucas are hitting the coils. The big nut on top of the ucas is positioned at about the middle of the slot. Would moving it out as far as it goes solve my problem? If I did that would I need an alignment? My measurements are 23-1/2" DS and 24" PS. I'm also wondering if the top plate spacers are giving me too much extra lift. Thanks.

IMO you won't need spacers running the new tires on those wheels.

Satoshi'd grill. blacked out badges. aftermarket sound system. De-chromed and color matched. OME 885s + Dakars with 3rd leaf removed. LR UCAs. Scs stealth 6 with 285 duratracs. BAMF sliders
This issue has come up before, i dont know if it was ever solved but some people recomended spinning the coils, that may prevent the UCA from hitting them, ill find the thread for you. Moving the top nut will change your camber, which is a tire wear adjustment, you should get a alignment if you need to move the balljoint out.

Edit: i cant find the thread, maybe someone else can...oz?
