I can't believe no one has mentioned Chattanooga Whiskey Co. They just recently got started again after being out of business for a long time. Sip it slow and before you know it it'll knock your dick in your watch pocket!!

Being an Iowa boy myself I like to try local beers and liquors, but I have to recommend that you steer clear of sweet corn sippn' whiskey made in Grimes. One of the worst hangovers ever and pretty harsh to drink. Has anyone tried Cody Road whiskey from LeClaire? I am from there, but they didn't have any batches until recently.

Yep I have some right now. It is pretty good. It is a little different than most bourbons, but it is good. I'm a huge fan of local/small distillery stuff. My favorite right now is cedar ridge which is made just south of Cedar Rapids Iowa.
