Hey man, i showed this to my whole family and my dad cried... Cystic Fibrosis hits home with them because my father's sister (my aunt, i just never met her) died of Cystic Fibrosis when she was 19 years old... this was in the 70's when nothing could really be done.... my whole family is sending prayers your way, my grandmother donates to a Cystic Fibrosis foundation to find a cure, just wanted to let you know that you got a lot of prayers coming your way, i know you'll pull through this, just be strong brother!

:( that made my arm hairs stand up, I never like to hear sad stories like that, Losing a brother or sister to this disease is never fun to hear. There has been alot of great medical treatments since then so people are living well into there 30s-40s with the disease. Please tell your dad his strength and closeness to the disease gives me strength, So does everyone, Including all the prayers from you and the family as well!

I have no doubt in my mind that a cure will be found within 10 years.

Dont ever think your life is the worst, Chances are: Your life is probably pretty well when you think of all the factors that are forgotten

I pretty much recite this everyday, I wrote it one day and its stuck ever since.

Best of luck Jon. I sincerely hope everything works out in your favor. You seem to have the right attitude.

“The longer I live, the more I realize the impact of attitude on life. Attitude, to me, is more important than facts. It is more important than the past, the education, the money, than circumstances, than failure, than successes, than what other people think or say or do. It is more important than appearance, giftedness or skill. It will make or break a company... a church... a home. The remarkable thing is we have a choice everyday regarding the attitude we will embrace for that day. We cannot change our past... we cannot change the fact that people will act in a certain way. We cannot change the inevitable. The only thing we can do is play on the one string we have, and that is our attitude. I am convinced that life is 10% what happens to me and 90% of how I react to it. And so it is with you... we are in charge of our Attitudes.” - Charles R Swindoll

Thank you, Nothing is more gradifying that knowing you finally accomplished a goal like this in life, The feeling really is priceless.

Ah i know, But hell if not me then who?!? haha Thank you man. Keep on posting shit so i can keep on annoying you ;)

Thank you sir, I dont consider my self an inspiration but if i can turn anyones life around with my story i would do it in a heartbeat. Actually decided early on that i am going to volunteer my time after my transplant to help kids that need motivation and inspriation. Wake up calls in life really do happen, Sometimes to late but thankfully i woke up before i never could.
