This pos s3 sucks. I just had to restart it because the keyboard won't write out what I'm typing, it does it a lot Wtf?

So rooting a phone is basically removing the fail-safe measures in place so you can do system level changes/modifications. "Jailbreak" in iCrap terms.

 

So it's a good thing because?

 

So doctor why does my phone not write out what I type? It does it almost every day and I gotta restart it evrytime?

You can remove all the junky bullshit bloatware loaded on the phone by the carrier.

You can load customized ROMs that are built to increase performance and minimize battery suckage.

You can load paid games/apps that you might have not made payment on (no I didn't say that out loud)

 

You can stick that icrap where the sun don't shine







I just don't like I phones I've tried messing with them at the store when I was looking to change but just didnt like it

 

I think I gotta do that to that phone, I like my old phone better then the crap 3 I got now, idk maybe I got a bad one. Is it something I can do by myself?

 

Had the S3, Didnt approve. If you need an extra battery or back or glass screen i can hook ya up carlos. Probably have the charger somewhere around too if you need one of those

Yes you can root your own phone, it's not something I suggest doing lightly without a LOT of reading/research. You can brick your phone to where it's not worth more than a paperweight. There's a program called Odin 1-Click that I'm not sure is the root/mod standard still or not. I've not done anything with my 3, and my Captivate (original Galaxy) was the last phone I modded (almost 2yrs ago).

How do you have a glass screen btw? Isn't that expensive like $200

It's almost 3 weeks old, I really think its defective

 

Without the Digitizer its alot cheaper but turns out i needed one of those haha so i never ended up fixing it.

Did you know that Gorilla Glass has been on all the Galaxy versions? Did you know it hasn't been on the iCrap since inception??!!!

I broke my galaxy phone all the time gorilla glass is not that strong. The weakness of the droids is why I came back to iPhone. I'm rough as shit on phones and throw them in and out of my gear at work. This far with smart phones the iPhone is the only phone to be able to take a beating. Can't talk for the 5 because I have that to my wife. But I have had every other iPhone and several droids.
