Thats a pretty good deal if you plan on buying only Glocks. But if thats the only one he wants, he's better off getting the used one.

If you don't draw blood, you're doing it wrong!
Just picked a new XDm 9 (4.5"), and ordered the PRP grips and trigger spring kit.

Installing those tonight. Also picked up 150rds of AE for plinking tomorrow.

I love my PRP rubber grips. The perfect amount of grip. They do rub a little on the skin when I carry but that's what under shirts are for!

How difficult were the springs to put in? I got some on the way for my new XDs but from what I've read the XDs is a little different (read: more difficult) than XD and XDM.

They feel really good. Not as intense as griptape, but still a big improvement

They weren't hard at all. I watched a YouTube video from PRP that gave me the info. Make sure you have some pin punches or Allen wrenches. Also, the trigger has to be lined up perfectly when reinserting the pin.

Got my Grandfathers .410 almost 20 years ago. Didn't do much with it because of a broken spring. It's a Stevens bolt action made in the 1940's. Thanks to Numrich gun parts I got the spring and then picked up some shells for small game in the near future.

It took me about 30 minutes on the XDm. It was the first time disassembling it, so I was extra cautious.

The hardest part was hooking the sear spring under the ejector pin, mainly because I have sausage fingers.

    This might help too:
    http://www.tacti-cool.com/detail-disassembly/

Good luck, I think it's definitely worth it. Better follow-up shots and groupings after I installed it.

The guy in the video used tweezers for some of the springs. Definitely going to do that since I too have sausage fingers.

Bought some welding rod to learn how to use the stick welder to fab some target steel. No more resetting or taping targets.
