I have a 2013 SR5 DBL Cab, 4x4. Bilstein 5100's set at 1.75 with stock coils in front. Wheelers HD progressive AAL, overload out in rear. The tires are Mickey Thompson Baja STZ 265/75R-16. The ARB bumper weighs about 200 lbs (estimate) and the Snug Top shell probably about 250 lbs. It's all new (truck only has 4,800 miles), so nothing has "settled" yet. I put the Billies on first, and it was 1/4"-1/2" low in back; I didn't like that at all. I think it looks good now, and I like some rake, but just don't want too much. I measure it about 1.5 inches higher in the rear, hub to fender. I've thought about going 2.5 on the Billies, but have read about issues with alignment/vibration doing that, plus paying someone $ to "re-do" it. I don't use the truck for hauling much weight (it's not a work truck), mostly it's for getting us to snowboarding spots in winter and backpacking trailheads in the summer. I often have 90 lbs of dogs in the back though, and sometimes outdoor recreation gear as well. What do you think? Too high in the rear, or about right? Will things settle evenly, or do you think front or rear will settle more? Thanks for any input!

Looks good to me... I like the rear a bit higher for towing. I had the front/rear the same for a while but once the boat was hooked up the headlights were aiming up in the sky... fixed it to where the front is an inch lower now and it's perfect!!

Opinion only, I like mine to sit level, just don't like any rake. It is your truck and that being said, if you like it stay where you are. You have a damn good looking truck and if the cost to change the Billies to 2.5" is questionable it seems like the thing to do is stay at the current height. Just my $.02

Thanks for the feedback and the compliments! I think the truck looks awesome too, and am really proud of it. I've had 4x4 vehicles all my life (starting with an International Scout II, if that dates me), but I haven't fixed one up since high school (a few decades ago). I'm having a blast with it!

So you did the AAL and took the overload leaf out? How's the ride? How much did you gain?

Yes, the overloads come out. That's what the instructions, and the guys at Wheelers, said to do. The ride is good. Since they're progressives (3 leafs), they work well. I live on a gravel road which can be pretty "washboardy", and I don't get any rear end hop or rough ride feel. Wheelers makes two kits now; standard and heavy duty. This is the HD one, which they recommended for my double cab, especially with the fiberglass shell on it. It raised it between 1.5 and 1.75 inches.

    Ditto.
Looks great, and avoids the "bro lean" look if you haul something moderate.
