Gears arrived!

Shouldn't you have two sets of those gears?

 

He has factory 4.56's so when he switches to the TRD rear he just needs to gear it to 4.56.

Right then, got most of the wiring done. Only thing left is to cover the wiring in the plastic sleeve and zip tie it to the stock harness under the truck. Hooked it all up for a test outside the truck and the locker worked beautifully. Then went back and taped everything up.


Here is the complete harness. Upper part is what goes in the back of the truck, then in the cab is the relay and switch.



The wiring all in the kick panel. The relay is back in the corner by the red wire. Using a 15a fuse tap to draw from the 4wd computer fuse.


The locker harness comes out the plug under the truck


Aaaaand the switch. Poser shot, it doesen't do anything, but it works.

haha i really wanted TRD badges...but at 60 bucks heck no!
itll be a stealth TRD.

After a little while you get used to just about everything, so i honestly don't remember what it was like having 31s, as it's been over a year. It's not fast, and gets shitty MPG, but i look at it and think it looks pretty sick, and I love it so it's worth it. Tires are a bit small though.
