Monte: I've now driven 600 miles with NO muffler. It's weird haha. I think it helps my MPGs a little, but I'm not sure. Sure is loud!

It was very ironic driving around Yellowstone and the Tetons with it, since my deaf plate explains away the noise lol

 

Nah just driving in Yellowstone is good mpgs. Going 45 most the time is the ticket. Our rigs like that speed a lot. I got 23 last time I was through there on 31s and no armor

Nope I was only 3-400lbs lighter. He said his was 5600 and I'm well over 5000 with all my gear. Plus I had extra tools. I'm sure was around 5200 with the dogs in back which after a while the rode in most the time.

 

Shoulda seen how pooched out my tires were at 8psi lol I'm amazed I didn't pop a bead on some of the turns.

And not much. With grant and I on the truck that puts us up past 5600 easy..

And forced??? There is no forcing. Ill run c for all I care. Flex better not sure how one gets forced to e rated...



Oh and mike. LOVED the arb inflator. Made filling tires sooooo much easier. 8-32pso in about 22 seconds.

And well...my bumper bent when winching talking to Tim about it..and pretty sure my ps pump and belt are shot! Ha also found out my secondary battery positive post wing nut contacts the hood on large bumps so ,y new yellow top is dead. Completely. Thank go for the 140amp alternator I could still run all my lights and stuff no problem. Which btw. SOOOOO glad I had all the lights. So helpful.

Other then that..pretty good other wise.

 

I'd argue that you and your rig were one of the most qualified to help extract that red baby, between a capable Tacoma, lotsa lights, brawn to shovel, and a winch.

 

Actually mine seem to be pooching a 32 now too they flex over rocks and shit..need to do the chalk test again.

Bent where? Between the frame mounts, the winch plate area? Or did one of the bumper mounts stretch?

 

Frame mounts bent. Kinda keeping it DL till I talk to him more. Not sure ill be able to fix it well.
