How did you make that GIF in your sig?

 

I used MPlayer.

 

Is the 13mm what your looking for lift? I think the front gives double the amount that you put in.

ex. 1/4" top plate spacers = 1/2" lift

I could be wrong but that is what I understand. So if the plates are 13mm it will give an extra 1" of lift.

 

You are correct sir. My 3" lift uses 1.5" top plate spacers.

 

Exactly! I've got the older 886s that have dropped down with the addition of the plate bumper and skid. Whenever I get around to the winch it'll probably drop a little more.

 

Wow 886's saged that much? I know they are different now but I didn't think they would sag so much with their spring rate.

 

Has anyone switched from top plate spacers and stock springs/struts to 5100's and 885 coils? I'm probably gonna get 5100's all around, and might do the coils while I'm at it.

 

Spring rate and sag are not necessarily related. The new OME coils aren't as prone to sagging because of a change in the production process. Same spring rate, less sag.

 

I feel like I got hit by a herd of bison. Turns out playing full contact ultimate Frisbee on wet turf is a terrible idea.

Yeah, they sagged quite a bit. Still a nice ride and corner well (spring rate), but sagged.

Now if I could convince them to "cover" a few larger items...Life would be DAM GOOD .....
