    I am looking for a stock intake for a 2005 Tacoma. I need it to pass visual inspection in California. I have a CAI and won't be able to pass the visual with it so now I am stuck trying to find one. Please send me a PM and be reasonable if you do want to sell one. Thanks in advance.

    I know that they make a big deal out of the visual inspection and where I have gone it has been a problem. Any ideas where I should go and they won't make it a big deal? Where have you taken it and keep in mind our trucks don't have an actual Cali smog check legal since we remove the secondary air filter.

    I think the only smog legal cai's in CA is the trd intakes. aFe, K&N, volants.....all those are not smog legal

    Sorry, I have a 2.7 and later saw that you had a 4.0. :eek: It's too bad. I know a good smog guy who passes vehicles that conform to the actual tailpipe emissions test and have a properly operating vapor recovery system. After all, those should be the only logical practical criteria.
