How's this look??


It's not that bad is it? I've seen worse and my steering is dead center. Didn't think this would be an issue with tire size....I repeat myself often

 

Your caster is a little lower than ideal, but if it drives good then thats no big deal. Is it only your drivers side that rubs? Camber should be at 0 or close to it, camber is a tire wear angle

And you said on the lower control arm? Or did you mean the upper?

 

Strange yor tire rub . I think the prefered specs are
Camber 0
Toe 0
Caster 2.5
Did you do uca ?

 

Def lca, will take pic in morn to show the clean spot from tire rubbin. Did not do uca

 

Weird, im stumped. You should get some pics and start a thread, maybe someone else will have an idea what is going on.

 

IMO it looks good enough to drive and not destroy your tires. That rubbing issue is troublesome if those alignment numbers are current as of today.

 

265 should not rub. It's the stock size tire anyways isn't it?

Agreed. Not a ghost farts chance in hell he should rub with his wheel tire combo.

Makes me think about lower ball joint issues, wheel bearing, or lca bushings, but any wrench worth their shit would've told you the truck couldn't be aligned and why.

I can't wait to see what the issue is.

 

That's not a great alignment. The cross camber should be closer, no reason for it to be 1 on one side and 0 on the other.

Where are you rubbing on the LCA? Hell, people run up to 285's and don't run the lower control arm. Something seems really wrong with that. Everything tightened properly?

 

I thought I saw 0.8 on the other side. Squirrel?

 

Oh... I thought it looks like 0.0 but you're right, looking again it is a little fuzzy.

Assuming it is 1.0 and 0.8, that's actually even worse! If they sacrificed camber to gain caster and only got to 1.5, they need to try a lot harder and get that caster number higher. If you're going to sacrifice camber, you should at least have a decent camber number. Both of them shouldn't suck!

 

I'm baffled. I'm getting the impression that they shouldn't have bothered aligning the truck because there is a mechanical issue they missed.
