Wondering about a 2 inch leveling kit

    I was thinking about getting a 2.25 inch leveling kit put on my 2012 Tacoma DCB sport 4x4
    $180 Pro Comp 2.25" Leveling Lift Kit - 65205

    I was wondering if anyone could show me pictures of lifts close to 2.25 inches that still had stock rims and tires on them, i want it to look good. with that 2.25 lift would i need to get bigger rims and tires to make it look good? (i was hoping not to, so that i wouldnt have to lose MPG) Thoughts? Pics?

    A lift, some wheels, some tires, some performance, some cosmetic and then audio.
    Personally I would get Bilstein 5100's and set them in the 1.75" and call it good.

    265/75/16 S/T Maxx 16X8.5 Level 8 Trackers 5100 1.75 HID, LED interior, 3" N-Fab step bars
    ^^^^ What he said. 2.25" is going to be way too high in the front. 5100 set at 1.75" in the front will make it perfectly level and have a better ride...that is my set up
    Just about any aftermarket wheels will look better than stock. even only 1 tire size up will make a big difference.

    265/75/16 - 5100s set at 1.75" in the front. 4 Factory leafs in the rear. No Rubbing. Much better ride & handling than stock.

    Won't the increase in tire size decrease the has mileage and throw off the speedometer? Or is that false info that I was told?

    Definitely go with 5100's at 1.75, that was my set up and I had stock tires and wheels.

    Leveling kits (spacers) ride like poop. Bumping up to 265/75/16 or 265/70/17 (which is what you could run if you got the 5100's) would make negligible difference in mpg. And supposedly the stock configuration of the speedometer is actually a little low, and adding a slightly larger tire will actually get it closer to correct. I can't confirm that, just something I've heard multiple times on here though. Trust me on this though. I've had a leveling kit and spacers = crap. Do it right the first time with the 5100 shocks. You can set them to .85" 1.75" or 2.5". Also 265/75/16's made no difference for me personally.

    After getting them on, it did actually fix the speedometer. Toyota wont adjust your speedometer as long as it's 7mph and below off. Mine used to be off by 3-4mph but now it's spot on. Funny but very true. What about this leveling kit......doetsch-2006-uptac-2wd-trd-ez-lift. I really want one but have nothing on my truck.

    Good to hear. I wouldn't get an ez lift or spacer lift. For about the same price or cheaper than most spacer kits, you can get a set of adjustable billstein 5100 shocks. You can adjust them from .85" 1.75" and 2.5" of lift in the front to level it out. I can guarantee they will ride better than spacers. Research them on this site, so you won't waste your money on junk.

    2013 Tacoma trd offroad
    I have a 2013 Tacoma TRD off-road. I bought it with 265/75r16 already on it. No problems rubbing. I just put a 2" lift on it and was thinking about putting 285/75r16 on it but not sure if they will rub
