So i bought a 05 prerunner with the stock 15 inch steel wheels. I found a guy in craigslist who is selling his factory TRD 16inch wheel set for $300. Do you guys think this is a deal? They have 30K on them and are in good shape. I want to get rid of the ugly steel that came with my truck but am thinking maybe this is a lateral move, rather than vertical.

Also, any reason to think they wouldnt fit right?

They will fit just fine. Sounds like a pretty good deal to me. :)

I was thinking that too, but i just bought a chrome toolbox and my truck is black. If i paint the wheels, the entire truck will be black except for the tookbox. might look a lil funky...

Stock steelies on the Prerunner at 16", not 15".

I would do it but I'd go less than $300. The TRD alloys are lighter so there's the added bonus of (slightly) better mpg.
