Yea, I was wondering if I could get some sort of replies on this issue. I had to brake really hard today so as not to hit this car who suddenly decided to make a U turn unexpectly right in front of me. When I braked my front end seemed to rotate clockwise slightly and I felt a slight clunk at the same time, but once I started back on the road again everything seemed to be ok, like nothing had ever happened. Does this sound normal or is there an underlying problem, I only have approximately 5000 miles on it so far. Thanks for listening and for any and all replies.

What does that mean? Your front end rotated clockwise? That makes no sense to me. The closest I can get would be that maybe it pulled to the right side?

If the front end rotated clockwise what did the back end do? :p

The tires locked up and I felt a twisting foward while the tires were still locked, the rear was normal.

Sounds like abs/vsc stuff. If concerned take it to the dealer to be sure.

Vsc will lock up a wheel depending on the hard braking characteristics and during avoidance maneuvers. Which Is why I don't like the vsc system.

One of the hardest issue we had with accident investigation was lack of skid marks with car/trucks with ABS.

Op a similar thing happened to me about a week ago. Under an emergency stop the truck pulled to the right and the rears locked up. I thought I was going around. I figured the front springs are so soft that it nose drives hard and the rear being light was the cause. I have had no issues since.
