If you were a .5" smaller or .5" bigger I'm sure you would notice

I've been charging $35. Really good price. It depends how many pucks are needed for the taco. I'll find out this weekend.

I think it's good to help clear bigger tires, get rid of some rubbing, and add just that much more flex. The 4th gens have issues with wheel well clearance

No, it raises the body off the frame. It makes getting to the body mount a little easier though!

0.5 in = 12.7mm about ( ) this much :D Can be the difference between rubbing and not rubbing at full stuff with larger tires.

Won't eliminate the need for the cab mount chop. If you rub the cab mount, you need to cut it, a body lift won't help that since it stays put. The body lift would help with body contact only.

Check to make sure your ball joint and connection to the spindle is tight. The steering stops should prevent you from turning over hard enough to rub there. That's pretty crazy, haven't seen that one before. Only think I can think is maybe getting better alignment numbers would help you out.

    Fixed for you

Kicking myself for getting 265's instead of 285's. A little over an inch of more clearance, i think. Next set for sure

I wonder if the alignment guys messed with his stops, but that wouldn't explain his rub only on one side. From what I've read -0.3 to 1.2 is within spec for camber. I wonder if they pull it in to 0.0 the rub would go away.

All that said I still think there is a mechanical/material defect that warrants further inspection. It's the first I've ever seen of rub on the LCA, all the cases of rub I've ever personally dealt with are on inner fenders or the frame. Bright idea fairy just shit on my forehead: 18" wheels and 275 or 285s!

That is a weird place to rub . My alignment has never been right since I lifted my truck. Way worst numbers then yours . But the only place I was rubbing was cab mount with 285's and the fender right next to the cab mount . I just cut all that stuff off .
My 265/75/16 don't rub on anything . Even full stuff full lock .

Something else is going on with your truck and I don't think it's the alignment causing the rub . I would get it back on jack stands and poke around at all the stuff that was installed or touched when installing it.

I believe the steering stops are a cast piece. I don't think there is any adjustment there unless you break them off.

As far as the rubbing, I'm thinking if you mess with the lower adjustments enough, you can shift where the wheel sits relative to the fixed suspension parts and make it rub in different places. Something being loose could give the wheel more play also

    CALL HER.

My cats are my life. My sister in law had one get out last year and it broke her heart.

Ad doesn't say it, but if my Precious (the big gray cat) was lost he is on meds and a special diet..won't live long without it and there's no way to tell by looking at him.

If it's the lady's cat, she gets it back. Then take your lady and go adopt a black kitten for her.

Did away with the old bolts for stops did they? I hadn't even poked around to check it out on mine.

Squirrel needs to get that bad boy up in the air and do some investigating so we can stop throwing shit at a wall just to see what sticks :D
