you can stay as long as you want really.

just make sure you leave no trace.

the dumpster will be there through sunday (hopefully not over flowing with garbage by then)

just remember, your actions and how you leave the place reflect on all of us :D

I'm planning on having all you back from Trifecta before dark on Thursday if you want to do a night run. Just don't break anything on the trail so we can get back on time. :) That's a TON of time in the truck for one day to do Trifecta and then follow it up with a night run though. Maybe I'm just getting too old.

Edit: there looks to be long runs on either of those days.

So I guess we can just pick either day and play it by ear

Not for you. I was glad you didn't have one on Cliff hanger last year so I didn't have to listen to you. ;)

j/k Bab will say for sure but I highly recommend everyone have a CB. My reason is this, it's important to be able to communicate between trucks on the trails. Especially in Moab with long trails and big groups. Good trail etiqeutte is to keep the guy behind you in view all the time. Sometimes groups get spread out. If someone breaks down or rolls it can be critical to let the trail leader and other in the group know so they can help. I consider a CB a safety item.

a HAM radio would be better because of the increased range, but the cost involved and need a license to operate a HAM isn't practical for everyone. A CB radio is cheap and anyone can operate it and it's range is generally adequate for trail rides.

there are many benefits to having a cb, even if it's a handheld unit.

so yes, go to radio shack or your local electronics store and pick up a handheld cb

instead of making exceptions for people, it's better for everyone to have communication with each other on the trail.

    Awesome.

Yeah, I was going to get my HAM license about a year ago, but it didn't work out. I didn't want to get a CB simply because I thought I'd be getting a HAM radio. Buuut, since that's not happening I might just get a cheap CB.......
