Lets see pics of your 2012 with Duratracs

I have a superwhite 2011 4X4 and have a lot of original tread left before I can put Duratracs on.

 

I am with you I will run the stockers till they are dead then I will change out

 

Why run stocks when you can have these bad boys on your feet

 

Because right now there are other things/mods that the $$ is going to

 

how many miles do you get out of these duratracs?

 

When I bought them at goodyear they said they are rated at 60-70k. I would be happy to get 50 out of them

 

I couldn't find them listed on the Goodyear page, but did read elsewhere that retailers covered the tire for 40,000 miles when properly aired and rotated. I suspect that will vary on terrain and personal driving habits, as with any off road tire. "Spirited" driving inspired tires tend not to last, which is why I'd bet Goodyear fails to list them among their rated tires in the Wrangler family. Have a look see -

FWIW, I got about $350 in credit towards my Duratracs for my new Rugged Trails. Went to the tire shop the week I got my truck. Might have to call around to find a tire place that will do it but worth it IMO.

Steve, what size are your tires? What stage Icon did you put on and how do you like it. Also, who makes those rock rails? This is pretty much the setup I want to do on my new 2013 DC TRD OR. Did you do the lift yourself?

 

The tires are LT265/75R16 Load Range C.

Some people call the Icon setup a 3T. It's basically a stage 3 but with their tubular UCA instead of the billet one. I had some help with the rear lift but did the front completely by myself. I got 2" lift in the rear because I left the overload in, and I set the front for 1 3/4" lift. I like it a lot over stock. A lot less body roll in corners and just feels more in control. It's a little too stiff over certain road bumps but seems to be mellowing out as I get miles on it.

So are these any or much louder than the BFG AT KO's. I can't decide between the two??

 

Wish they made these in a 275/70/17

 

They aren't too bad. Was driving about 70 on the interstate today and has a high pitch hum. Not loud enough to be annoying. After you have them for a while you don't event notice anymore. Just normal road noise to you. At lower speeds its barely noticeable... only hear it if your listening for it
