The stock rings seem to work fine if you hit a rock or a curb, that could damage the rim itself, but I am sure the aftermarket can do it better. I know they can make me a better driver.

You could probably get the rings powder coated or even anodized another color. It would kind of depend on how they came finished from the factory.

Or just 'derp the shit outta them....

Nice baja vids. To the OP, it's your money, spend it however you want man. This all comes down to what your going to use the truck for , preference. It's nice to take input from others, but if there's one thing I've learned from auto forums, majority opinions arnt always correct. Just keep that in the back of your mind.

Okay sounds good. I am going to swap out a heavier coil, but I want to know the specs of the springs I have. I am not sure what the spring rate of these coils are.

Here is the info I could find.

Tech Tidbit:The 3-inch-diameter front coil springs are manufactured by Eibach for TRD. They are off-the-shelf race units rated at 650 lb/in. That's slightly softer than the stock springs.

I saw that article also. I know that the stock springs are 540 which confuses me since that article says slightly softer than stock.

haha! You know what is worse than $1500 for cool TRD stickers on shocks and coils that make the OP happy? People that don't read a whole thread and then make a troll comment.

It is better set up than Toytech or OME for sure. I am happy with my suspension and I OP really likes his.

If everything goes according to plan I will have this same package (with the addition of Icon AAL's and Firestone Ride Rites) after the weekend. Hopefully I will be a happy camper.

Why AAL's and airbags? Just run more psi in the bags

Went back and forth a bunch on that part. In the end I wanted the suspension adequately provide the lift and other suspension duties and the air bags to be inflated with load (I know they have to have a min amount of psi).

Found a ton of info on airbags in general but not so much with lifts. This approach made sense to me.

Oh, also when you order the kit it doesn't come with an extra leaf and the Baja's come with the 4 leaf pack.
